In response to the question from an organist of what to play on the same program with Dudley Buck’s “Grand Sonata in E-flat,” I have begun working on the fourth in the same series as this, his most popular piece.
As you can see, the fourth in the series is a contrasting piece called “Impromptu Pastorale.” It’s from 1868. I am restoring the original, on full size paper, correcting the original engraver’s mistakes, and adding further information. I hope to be finished with it later in 2012.
Also, in this series, I have restored Triumphal March.
