Uriah C Burnap (1834–1900) was born in Vermont. Though he studied organ in France, he returned to Brooklyn to work
in business in addition to his organ playing responsibilities which included the Reformed Church in Brooklyn Heights where he served for
the last 15 years of his life. Like Eugene Thayer, Burnap shot himself dead after suffering health problems. Moderate.
