Clarence Kohlmann (1891-1944)
is best known for his 20 year tenure as organist in the Ocean Grove Auditorium; he wrote the famous “Ushers March” which
is still played there today. Subtitled “A Love Sonnet,” this melodic piece would be at home on an orchestral or a theatre
organ for a Valentine’s concert. Retitling as “Intermezzo” would allow it to be played in other situations, even religious services. Easy.
