This Is Newly Printed Music
Henry Morton Dunham (1853-1929) began his college study as a motivated
organ student. Planning to study with Eugene Thayer at Boston Conservatory,
he travelled to Boston but found the doors locked. So, he walked across the
street to the New England Conservatory, liked what he found, and entered there
to study with George Whiting. Dunham taught there for 50 years. He wrote
interesting parts for both piano and organ in one of the first original compositions
of its kind. Moderate.
