Robert Hall Elmore (1913-1985) was born in India as the son of missionaries. He played for churches and for the Philadelphia Orchestra as Official Organist, he taught, and he wrote hundreds of works for organ, chorus, voice, and instruments. Fantasy on Nursery Tunes, along with “Rhumba” and “Pavane,” are among his best known works. Moderate.
