This is the first printing of this legendary piece by Roy Perry, the great organ designer and tonal finisher for G Donald Harrison
at Aeolian-Skinner. I worked closely with Jimmy Culp, organist emeritus of First Presbyterian Church in Kilgore, Texas, in preparing
this edition to match Roy’s intent. Jimmy told me that Roy loaned him the manuscript, and he made the copy we used for this
edition. “In the places where notes have been marked out or changed, you should know that Roy made those corrections,”
he wrote. He also mentioned that Roy “took a pencil and changed notes, marked out notes, added slurs, etc. He said he
‘changed his mind.’” We include a photo and Roy’s short autobiography, “Poor Bob’s Boy.”
Highest quality guaranteed. Size of music is
9.5" x 12.5". $7.00.
