Vladimir Ivanovitch Rebikoff (1866–1920) was a Russian impressionist composer known for light music and works for children. This short piece is from Suite de ballet tiree du conte "Mila et Nolle," Op 14, published in Russia in 1899 and in Boston in 1910. This transcription was published nine years after his death at age 54. If you would like to make a comparison, you may see and print Rebikoff’s original piano piece from 1910.
Henry Clough-Leighter (1874-1956) was born in Washington, DC. He was a composer and transcriber and worked as editor for Oliver Ditson, Boston Music, and E C Schirmer. Notice his comment on the registration at the bottom of the first page of music: “The registration is for theatre organs having a Solo manual in place of the Choir.” Moderately easy.
