This is a new printing of the original edition on sturdy, acid-free
paper. 8 pages. All markings are original. Highest
quality guaranteed. Also known as “Il Natale in Sicilia,” Yon calls it a
Cornamusa, or Bagpipe. The organists who know this
piece play it year after year. My original for this restoration belonged to the great Carl F Mueller who had listed 39 performances from 1921 to
1960! Size of music is
9.5" x 12.5". $7.00.
This Is Newly Printed Music
Pietro Alessandro Yon was born in Italy in 1886, moved to the US in
1907, became a citizen in 1921, and died in New York in 1943 at age 57. He
is best known for the beautiful Christmas song, Gesù Bambino,
and for his tenure at St Patrick’s Cathedral, New York City. This is Yon’s easiest piece. Easy.
