Ralph Kinder (1876-1952) was born in England but spent most of his life
in the United States of America. He studied organ with Edwin Lemare, played
numerous recitals, and wrote many melodic organ pieces. Kinder’s
Berceuse is
a lullabye of great beauty and tenderness. You will hear echoes of his
teacher, Edwin H Lemare, in the accompaniment style and thumbing down technique
found in his
Andantino. Easy. (Also in this set:
Fantasia on “Duke Street” &
Festival March)
